#Alltheparks – Week 2 and Week 3

Week 2:  Donner Park and Ninth Street Park.

Week 3:  McCullough’s Run and Northbrook Park

Week 2

Donner Park – We live about 2 blocks from Donner Park so it’s our go to park.

I mentioned before that we love the park.  On this particular day we didn’t have much going on so we ended up at Donner Park in the morning and Ninth Street Park in the afternoon.

Ninth Street Park – This was our first trip to Ninth Street Park and it won’t be our last.  It is a little climber’s heaven.  And it has this neat two player game, that reminds me of Simon from the 80’s, that kept Isaac’s attention for quite some time.

Week 3

This was our first visit to McCullough’s Run Park.  Both Isaac and Zoe got a kick out of the merry go round…I didn’t think these things were still around anymore.   

There were also plenty of climbing opportunities.

Northbrook Park

There are no playgrounds at Northbrook Park so the kids and I just walked the People Trails for a bit and of course we had to stop at the bridge, twice, to throw sticks in water.

At the end of week 3:  6 down, 12 to go.
