Shelby County: Indiana Grand

One of our friends owns a handful of race horses. Earlier in the year, we met her at Churchill Downs to watch one of her horses race. Isaac and Zoe thought it was pretty neat so when her horse, Secret Authority was running at Indiana Grand on late on a Friday afternoon we decide to head over to Indiana Grand and check it out.

One of the great things about Indiana Grand is the playground. The kids, there were 6 of them on this beautiful evening, approved.

As the race approached we got a good look at Secret Authority at the paddock.

We were able to walk right up to the track at race time to get a great view of the action. And Secret Authority won!

Then Isaac and Zoe headed off with their friends to a sleep over and Caleb and I got a tour of the stables. We got to meet Secret Authority.  

Indiana Grand is a great family friendly place to catch a horse race.
