Brown County: Brown County State Park

On a unseasonably warm day in February, we headed over to Brown County State Park for a family hike.

Although we only live about 30 minutes from the park, this was the first time we’d gone hiking there as a family.  We choose the Ogle Lake Loop.  At about 1.5 miles it was perfect choice for the kids.

As we were finishing up our hike, we happened upon a friend from Zoe’s Pre-K class so the kids enjoyed the nearby playground for a bit before we made an obligatory visit at the North Lookout Tower.  While February doesn’t offer the most picturesque views it’s still a fun stop.
