Spencer County: Holiday World

We went for the easy choice in Spencer County:  Holiday World.

Three of the four of us had never been to Holiday World before our trip in June.  And to add to the fun, we met up with some friends.

Our first ride of the day, The Scarecrow Scrambler, was a big hit.

Unfortunately the day we were there, Tropical Storm Cindy, decided to make an appearance in southern Indiana.  But we didn’t let a little bit of rain get us down; we just went to the waterpark.  The water park was great and the new water coaster, The Wildebeest, was fantastic!

After dragging the boys out of waterpark, we headed back to ride some more rides.  But first a Strawberry-Pineapple Dole Whip!  (If you’ve never had a Dole Whip you’re missing out).

Zoe was a big fan of The Howler.

And of course we had to ride the Firecracker.

Before we left, we had to take an obligatory with Santa.  At least one of us was not ready to leave!  Maybe next year we’ll get a better picture.
