National Park #8

After a good breakfast we headed out to visit the Indiana Dunes National Park.

We wanted to make sure to spend some time in the Indiana Dunes National Park since we’ve been enjoying visiting different National Parks. The Dunes would be our eighth national park in about 3 years. (Note: I hope to post about our National Park trips soon).

We thought it would be fun to do the hike to Mount Baldy but unfortunately there wasn’t one on Labor Day so we opted to check out the Chellburg Farm and do a hike on around the farm grounds.

Much less sandy than the 3 Dune Challenge from the day before. We also visited Bailly Cemetery during this hike.

After finishing up hiking it was back to Lake Michigan for a bit of playing on the beach.

Next up a stop at the Visitor’s Center so Isaac and Zoe could collect their Junior Ranger Badges.
