Noble County: Chain O’Lakes State Park

Next stop on day 2 of our Memorial Day Weekend trip: Chain O’Lakes State Park.

We met up with some family at the Nature Center and they recommended we hike Trail 5 and 7.

Not long after we started we spotted a big crawdad.

Recently storms in the area had knocked down quite a few trees so there was lots of climbing and ducking on this hike.

We even came across some pretty wildflowers.

Before heading out of the park, we stopped at the Stanley Schoolhouse, a one room schoolhouse built in 1915.
