Porter County: Indiana Dunes State Park

We decided to tackle the 3 Dune Challenge on this visit to the Indiana Dunes.

We started out on Trail 8 and quickly realized that this challenge would be a bit of an uphill climb.

We jumped on Trail 4 and made our way to Lake Michigan for a break from all that climbing.

The water was freezing.

I would definitely call Trail 8 rugged but it was worth all of the work to complete the 3 Dune Challenge.
