Sullivan County: Shakamak State Park

Our last adventure for the weekend was a stop at Shakamak State Park with Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Tom.

We opted for Trail 2 and a bit of Trail 1 to make a 2+ mile loop.

We ran across and abandoned coal mine on the trail.

Everyone was hot and hungry!

So we opted for a picnic lunch on the playground.

We’d like to try and visit Shakamak again to better explore the park.
