Wells County: Ouabache State Park

Our last stop for the day was Ouabache State Park.

Our plan was to catch the Bison Chat, which included feeding the bison, and then do some hiking. Unfortunately, it started raining, hard, right before the chat started. The Bison Chat proceeded as planned but they had to cancel the feeding because of lightning.

We waited long enough that the rain stopped and we were able to take a short hike around Kunkel Lake (part of Trail 4). Although, the trail was a bit flooded.

And we had to stop and play on the tire swing.
