Fountain County – Portland Arch

For Memorial Day 2021, we decided to check out a couple of counties that we intended to hit last year but got rained out. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit soggy and cold but we pushed back our departure time and managed to stay mostly dry.

First stop, Portland Arch Nature Preserve. The nature preserve has two short trails, the south trail and the north trail. Both trails are similar but the Portland Arch can only be viewed from the north trail. The peaceful trail clocked in at about 0.8 miles and the arch was pretty cool.
