Union County – Whitewater Memorial State Park
Our #OptOutside selection for 2021 was Whitewater Memorial State Park and Brookville Lake/Mounds State Recreation Area.
On this chilly Black Friday, we hiked the Red Springs Loop Trail.
To add a little bit of fun to our hike, we also completed the #OptOutside Scavenger Hunt sponsored by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
We wrapped up the scavenger hunt with a selfie at the entrance sign. Then it was down the road just a few miles to check out Brookville Lake.
