Tippecanoe County – Wolf Park

Our final stop for the day was Wolf Park.

Since we were spending the night in Lafayette, we decided to visit the park in the evening for Howl Night.

We were encouraged to arrive about 30 minutes early to have time to explore the walking paths before the Howl Night program started. There were a number of volunteers stationed in front of the wolf enclosures. The volunteers were full of facts about the wolves and were great at answering the kids’ questions.

Although it was a chilly and damp evening, the wolves prefer this weather and were quite vocal. It was cool to watch and listen to the wolves.

Next up was an hour program that where you learn all about wolves. The program was very interactive and informative; we learned quite a bit about wolves.

We highly recommend checking out Wolf Park!
